Online Application System for Admission to Postgraduate Studies

Instructions on How to Register and Fill Out the Application Form


  1. Please sign-up first.



  2. You will see the screen below after registration. Please follow the instruction on the screen.



  3. You will see the screen below after account activation. Please follow the instruction on the screen.



  4. After you sign-in, please choose Course "Doctor of Philosophy - HKPFS" and input HKPFS reference number allocated by Research Grants Council after completion of an Initial Application.



  5. Please click to have access to the respective section of the application form from the menu bar on the top and fill in the required information as appropriate. Please save the information in each section by clicking Save. Before you submit the application form by clicking Submit Form, you may logout the system at any stages by clicking Sign-out and login later to continue updating your online application by clicking Sign-in. When you finish entering all necessary information, please check to ensure the accuracy of the data. You may print a copy for your own reference by clicking Print. Then please submit your online application.

    Please NOTE that you can login the system to view your data after you have submitted your application. However, you cannot make any modifications via the system. Any changes/updates from then have to be reported in writing to the Graduate School.

  6. After clicking Submit Form, if you would like to choose E-payment, you may use the VISA/MASTER card to pay for the online application fee (non-refundable) via the BEA JETCO Payment Gateway. Or you may use the China UnionPay ("CUP") card to settle the payment via UnionPay Online Payment (UPOP). If you would like to use the CUP card to pay for the online application fee (non-refundable), you are required to use Internet Explorer 7.0 or above to submit e-payment.
